PROGRAM: "Dr Jack" - The Helping Dog from Mayo
Presenters: Marcia Fitzmeier & Teri Pepin
Jack, a 9-year-old miniature pinscher, has worked at Mayo Clinic since 2002 and two days a week, he sees a full slate of patients. A fully credentialed facility-based service dog, Jack plays an important role in the care of many patients. Mayo physicians can order a consult with Jack through the medical record, and Jack often stays with those patients through the course of their care. |
